Seahawks fans found out quickly on Sunday just how much a 4-0 preseason record means. Absolutely nothing.

Russell Wilson was one of five rookies to make their NFL quarterback debut on Sunday. There would be no beginners luck for the former Wisconsin star. He was sacked three times and intercepted once in a 20-16 loss to Arizona on the road.

"I knew they were going to bring pressure, I knew they were going to do different things and show different things. That's what NFL teams do," said Wilson after the game. "We changed it up too on offense as well. I think the main thing is just coming out a little stronger in the first half – collectively – and just continue to grow."

Coach Pete Carroll said Wilson was "under duress" on Sunday and called it a "great first game" for the rookie.

"It was not easy at any time," said Carroll. "He'll have a better sense of what can happen – the timing of it and all that."

Seattle has a tough test ahead as they host the Dallas Cowboys at CenturyLink Field Sunday at 1 p.m.
