58-Year-Old Woman Killed In Priest River Car Crash

PRIEST RIVER, Idaho - A woman was killed Wednesday when she crashed her car in northeast Priest River, Idaho.

58-year-old Laurie Lamphere was driving her car on East Side Road when she unsuccessfully tried to make a turn on the road..

Police tell us that despite wearing her seat belt Lamphere was killed after her car rolled off the side of the road.

She was killed on impact when her car hit an embankment. The Idaho State Police has not been able to determine whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
