Friday was a tough night for teams in the Inland Empire as a handful of non-conference opponents knocked off the IEL.

East Valley came into Post Falls and walked out with a 35-14 win over the Trojans. Isaac Jordan took over as starting running back and scored a second half touchdown to help lead the Knights to victory.

Lakeland got off to a quick start against Cheney going up 10-0 before the Blackhawks finally got on the board. The patient ground attack proved to be the difference as the Hawks rolled off a 38-17 win.

Sandpoint had a tough match up on the road with West Valley.  The Eagles were up 21-0 at the half and never looked back. Sandpoint fell 35-14 the final.
