Cashmere School District Closed Because Of Poor Air Quality

CASDHMERE Wash. - All schools in the Cashmere School District will be closed once again Tuesday due to poor air quality.

According to the Superintendent air quality tests from inside the schools show safe levels of carbon monoxide but district administrators are concerned about high particle count in the smoky air outside.

Wenatchee, Eastmont, Cascade and Lake Chelan school districts will continue with normal school schedules.

Cascade School District sports practices and recess are still being held mostly inside. Eastmont School District has cancelled outdoor activities.

Wenatchee sports practices, PE classes and recess will be held inside.
