Vehicle Hits Motorcyclist On 32nd Ave. Near Hwy. 27; Injuries Reported

KHQ.COM - On Tuesday morning Spokane County and Spokane Valley Sheriff's Deputies responded to the area on 32nd Avenue just west of Hwy. 27 for a report of a motorcycle and vehicle collision.
 
When deputies arrived on scene, they were told the 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling westbound on 32nd and was struck by a 1994 Chevrolet pickup traveling eastbound as it attempted to turn left into the parking lot on the north side of 32nd Avenue. 
 
The 51-year-old male driver of the motorcycle sustained a broken leg and possibly broken ribs and wrist. He was transported by ambulance to the hospital for his injuries which were reported as non-life threatening.
 
The 16-year-old male driver of the pickup was uninjured and was issued a citation for failing to yield the right-of-way.
