KHQ.COM - Police in Coeur d'Alene are asking for your help in locating the suspect in two separate robberies that may have been carried out by the same suspect. Read about the two incidents below in a press release issued by the Coeur d'Alene Police Department:
Suspect description: White male,5'6, 150lbs, brown hair, and hair stubble on side of his face by sideburns,very blue eyes, wearing a black cotton hoodie zipped all the way up with awhite ball cap underneath, blue jeans, and dusty black work boots.
At 11:57pmlast night (09/17/12) Coeur d'Alene Police officers responded to 2301 ShermanAve, the Tesoro service station for the report of a robbery that had justoccurred. The female clerk on duty reported that the male suspect had come intothe store one time prior to the robbery. The first time was at approximately11:35 pm. The clerk said he came up to the counter and asked about cigarettes.She told him the price and he said he would have to come back.
Thesuspect came back into the store at 11:47 pm and wandered around for a while.As soon as other customers left the store he approached the counter area andlifted his shirt to her displaying a handgun tucked into his waistband. Hedemanded money from the till. The clerk complied and gave him an undisclosedamount of cash. The male then fled the store on foot.

Suspect description: 5'8 to 5'10,white male, slender build, wearing a grey or white billed hat with a blackhoodie pulled over it, and blue jeans. The male has two piercings on his upperlip.
At 1:15amon today's date (091812) Coeur d'Alene Police officers responded to 335 W.Appleway, Walgreens for the report of a robbery that had just occurred. Thedescription of the suspect is similar therefore possibly related to the Tesororobbery. The female clerk on duty reported the male came into the store and wasstanding at the counter. She came forward from another area in the store andwent to the cash register. The male lifted his shirt and displayed a handgun inhis waistband. He demanded money from the till. She was not able to give it tohim. He took some cigarettes from the counter and fled the store on foot.
Officersreviewed surveillance video and it appeared he got into a dark colored vehiclethat was waiting outside. The vehicle drove east through the parking lot andleft the area. Surveillance video from the robberies will be provided to thePolice Department today. The videos will be released to the media as soon as weget them processed.
