Sunday's Weather Update: The 70's Return This Week

* Region-wide "Air Quality Alerts for wildfire smoke continues into Monday

Overnight: It should be a grand sunset @ 6:45pm as partial clearing takes place…conditions should remain fairly quiet, mild, hazy & smoky for the night. Any showers should remain well to the south along the WA/OR State line into the Central ID Panhandle

Monday: Partly cloudy to mostly sunny at times…A deep layer of Northerly winds should ensure improved air quality & minimal smoke in the Spokane area (temporarily)… Low/High 51°/78°

Tuesday:  A cloudier day as the next weather disturbance passes through during the afternoon. It's fairly weak with light rainfall amounts mainly from Spokane northward & eastward into Idaho… Low/High 53°/72°

FYI: Fall has arrived & lousy weather looms in the coming weeks…According to a Harvard research study, bad weather means good productivity. Research reports show workers are especially productive on rainy days, because they're not tempted by the possibilities of a sunny walk in the park, an afternoon at the beach or in my case, a day of fishing…Dave
