Sunday's Weather Update: The 70's Return This Week

* Region-wide "Air Quality Alerts for wildfire smoke continues into Monday

Overnight: It should be a grand sunset @ 6:45pm as partial clearing takes place…conditions should remain fairly quiet, mild, hazy & smoky for the night. Any showers should remain well to the south along the WA/OR State line into the Central ID Panhandle

Monday: Partly cloudy to mostly sunny at times…A deep layer of Northerly winds should ensure improved air quality & minimal smoke in the Spokane area (temporarily)… Low/High 51°/78°

Tuesday:  A cloudier day as the next weather disturbance passes through during the afternoon. It's fairly weak with light rainfall amounts mainly from Spokane northward & eastward into Idaho… Low/High 53°/72°

FYI: Fall has arrived & lousy weather looms in the coming weeks…According to a Harvard research study, bad weather means good productivity. Research reports show workers are especially productive on rainy days, because they're not tempted by the possibilities of a sunny walk in the park, an afternoon at the beach or in my case, a day of fishing…Dave

The driver's license is still good for driving and standard identification but those three words indicate that the ID is not valid for federal identification purposes. The ID cannot be used to board a plane or enter federal buildings starting October 1st, 2020. The real id act is a federal law, which was passed by congress in 2005...
