Man Surprises His Girlfriend On Hike Near Mt. Spokane With A Proposal, Story Gets National Attention

SPOKANE, Wash. - A man surprised his girlfriend with a proposal on the top of a mountain near Mt. Spokane with a camera set up to capture the moment. She thought they were posing for a photo with the view behind them, but instead he got down on one knee and proposed.

The camera was set to take a picture every two seconds to capture the moment on film. After the proposal he posted the photos online with the caption, "NAILED IT!! and to top it of...she even said YES :)." A spokeswoman said Tuesday morning that she believes some victims were counted twice in the early chaos of the storm.
