UPDATE: A mother is behind bars after she was caught speeding down a Washington
State highway with her three kids and a family dog in her car's trunk.
Anna Boyle of Woodinville, Wash., "appeared very nervous" when officers
approached the car Sunday morning for what they thought would be a
routine traffic stop, Washington State Patrol trooper Keith Leary said
in a statement.
Troopers found evidence of methamphetamine, traces of heroin, several
types of prescription pills and drug paraphernalia in the 2007 Nissan
Sentra.
They also smelled marijuana in the car and asked the 28-year-old and
her fiancé, Aaron Johnson, who was riding in the passenger seat of the
car, about the odor.
Boyle responded, "I took a few hits earlier."
It was when officers were searching the vehicle that they heard a "thumping sound" coming from the trunk of the car. click here to read more
