YAHOO.COM - Kenny Price was shaking his head when he received a $62,823.21 water
bill. The Atlanta resident says his water bills are normally $60 to
$80, so the jump was astronomical. Even when the water main to the
house was shut off, the dial on the meter cycled completely around
approximately every 45 seconds.
Price hired a plumber who could not
find a leak to explain the missing 1.2 million gallons of water. After
Price's complaints, an Atlanta Department of Watershed Management worker
checked the meter and found nothing wrong, but later a spokesperson
said they would investigate the matter further. click here to watch the video report
