HUFFINGTONPOST.COM - The top American commander of troops in Afghanistan showed signs of
impatience about the growing spate of insider attacks that have taken a
toll on U.S. troops during a blunt interview on "60 Minutes" Sunday night.
"I'm mad as hell about them, to be honest with you," Gen. John Allen
said in response to a question about the incidents, which the military
calls insider, or green-on-blue, attacks. "We're going to get after
this. It reverberates everywhere, across the United States. You know,
we're willing to sacrifice a lot for this campaign. But we're not
willing to be murdered for it."
