PULLMAN, Wash. -
Today WSU President Elson Floyd released a proposal to the board of regents that would set limits on tuition increases for undergraduate students.
As long as the Legislature maintains current budget levels, the proposal would hold down tuition increases by ensuring they don't exceed what's called the Consumer Price Index.
The next step is for the proposal to be reviewed by the WSU Tuition Policy Committee.
The president tweeted today, "undergraduate tuition at WSU will increase at CPI next fall if legislature maintains or exceeds current budget levels. Great for students."
