Eastern Washington moved up one spot to No. 6 in the SportsNetwork's FCS Top 25 poll released Monday.
The Eagles (4-1) were helped by Youngstown State getting crushed by No. 1 North Dakota State 48-7 on Saturday. Youngstown State fell five spots to No. 8.
The new ranking sets up an important game on Saturday, as the Eagles travel to Montana to face No. 2 Montana State. This weekend's game will likely create a change in the top 10, as well as determine the course of the Big Sky Conference for the rest of the season.
Also worth noting: Cal Poly (5-0) moved from No. 20 to No. 15 after an impressive 45-23 win over Weber State. Northern Arizona (4-1) moved up two spots to No. 16.
