Woman Arrested After Dead Child Found In Car

MARYSVILLE, Wash. (AP) - A woman has been arrested after two sick children, 1 of whom died, were found in car in Marysville.

KING-TV reports that the woman is being held at the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of child neglect and criminal endangerment.

Tulalip Police found a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old on Monday in a car parked in Marysville.

Emergency responders say the 1-year-old was unresponsive when they arrived, and the 3-year-old was obviously ill. Both were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett.

Which child died, the cause of death and the condition of the survivor were not immediately clear.
