UPDATE: according to Ferry
County, as of 11am, they have partially restored the problem with incoming calls
via land-line.
People can now reach
911 via land-line but 911 is not able to identify where the call is being placed
from without being told by the caller.

FERRY COUNTY, Wash. - Land lines in Ferry County with prefixes 775 and 779 cannot call into the 911 system. The problem started on Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities also report that long distance calls into the 911 system will not work either, only cell phones are working at the moment. There's no estimated time as to when the problem is going to be fixed. At least 3,000 people are affected.
