Local tennis team wins national title

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. -- There is national championship news for a local team. The 3.5 senior women's team from Richland won the USTA title. Over the weekend the Columbia Basin Racquet Club team outmatched the team from northern California, two to one. The national tournament was at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California. In 2009 the Richland squad won the national USTA title as well.
