SEATTLE (AP) - A Canadian border guard shot in her booth at a busy U.S.-Canada border crossing is expected to make a full recovery. 

The Canada Border Services Agency issued the statement on Officer Lori Bowcock's condition Wednesday. Bowcock was shot in the neck Tuesday afternoon by a motorist entering Canada at the Peace Arch crossing at Blaine. 

The man then shot and killed himself. 

Canadian officials have identified the man who shot and wounded a guard before killing himself at a busy U.S.-Canada border crossing. 

The Coroners Service says it was 32-year-old Andrew Michael Crews. He had previously lived in Bremerton, Wash., and had reportedly moved to Seattle recently. 

Investigators say Crews was driving a van Tuesday into British Columbia when he shot unarmed border officer Lori Bowcock in the neck and then turned the gun on himself.

Police have not released a motive.

Bowcock was flown to a hospital in Canada, where she is listed in stable condition. 

Officials are in the process of reopening the Peace Arch crossing's southbound lanes. Its northbound lanes are set to reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday.
