KHQ.COM - The total Shred Day numbers are in. At the downtown location, 422 bins were shredded. In Spokane Valley the total was 221. Coeur d'Alene shredded 224 bins. Total poundage shredded was 15,1725 lb. which is the same as 75.86 tons.

Hundreds of cars filed through three Inland Northwest locations to drop of their sensitive documents.

The United States Department of Justice states that in 2010, 7% of all United States households had at least one member of the family at or over the age of 12 who has been a victim of some sort of identity theft.
