Briann January
Former Lewis & Clark Tiger Briann January logged nearly 40 minutes Wednesday in the Indiana Fever's 83-71 loss to Minnesota in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals.

January was 5-of-10 from the floor with 12 points and four rebounds.

Minnesota's Semione Augustus scored 23 of her 27 points in the second half to help the Lynx get the win.

Game 3 is Friday in Indiana.

Klay Thompson
Former Cougar Klay Thompson played 32 minutes and scored 15 points in the Golden State Warriors 98-88 win over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. He shot 5-of-12 from the field and was the third-leading scorer of the game. He made 3-of-8 three-pointers.

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 19 points.

The Warriors play at Portland on Friday. The regular season begins Oct. 31 at Phoenix.

Ronny Turiaf
Former Gonzaga big man Ronny Turiaf made SportsCenter Wednesday night… for the wrong reason.

Jeremy Evans blocked a Turiaf jumper, then picked up the loose ball and skied over the former Zag for an impressive right-hand dunk.

Despite the embarrassing highlight, the Clippers beat the Jazz 96-94. Turiaf finished with 3 points in 18:46 of playing time. He had three rebounds.

Jeremy Affeldt
Spokane native Jeremy Affeldt will be on-hand has his San Francisco Giants take on St. Louis in Game 4 of the NLCS. The Giants are down 1-2 in the series. Thursday's starter on the mound is Tim Lincecum.
