RICHLAND, Wash. -- Richland alum Grant Richardson will replace retiring head baseball coach Ben Jacobs. The Richland School District announced the hiring of Richardson. He was serving as assistant coach at Columbia Basin College. Richardson played for Jacobs when he was the 1999 state championship hero. Jacobs retired to spend more time with his family.

Also Richland hired Jason Bare as the new bowling coach.
