PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SPOKANE VALLEY POLICE DEPT: On Thursday, October 18, 2012, Spokane Valley Sheriff's Deputy A. Childress responded to the 7400 block of East 10th to a stolen vehicle call.
Deputy Childress contacted the complainant, who was house sitting for the vehicle owner. He told Deputy Childress that the homeowner's vehicle was parked outside the residence at 10:00 p.m.
October 17th and he discovered it missing at 8:00 a.m. Thursday, October 18th. Deputy Childress spoke with the vehicle owner who told him she had not given anybody permission to drive her vehicle.
On Friday, October 19th, at about 11:00 a.m., a janitor at Orchard Center Elementary located the stolen vehicle parked on Center Road across from the school. The janitor looked inside the vehicle and saw the ignition had been punched and he reported it to the Sheriff's Office. The janitor also told deputies that the vehicle drop off was recorded by school surveillance because it is a student loading zone.
Attached are photographs of the two suspects that left the vehicle on Center Road. Anyone who can identify the adult male and female in the photo is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
