Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Tri-City Americans returned home yesterday after a six road games in eight days. The Ams went 5-0-1-0 over that span.

Their only loss coming in overtime to Saskatoon. The Ams have three more days off before traveling to Seattle on Friday, completing an eight-game road trip. The Americans talk about recovering after an extended road trip.

"It's just nice to get back home and get settled down a bit. You know the road trips do take a toll on our bodies and its kinda nice to come home and get back into a routine," said Justin Feser, Americans Forward.

"You know we take a break clearly after that long trip and then we just have to find the energy for Friday night in Seattle, that's really our main focus. As we just have to recover and then, you know we are feeling good about our game we just have to make sure that we have the energy in the tank to go and do it all over again starting Friday," said Jim Hiller, Americans Head Coach.
