KHQ.COM – A Restaurant in Northern California is providing customers with information that most food joints do their best to cover up.
The owner of Cafe del Soul in Marin County, CA has had management post a sign by the restaurant's door. The sign informs passersby the restaurant is infested by German cockroaches. The organic Cafe del Soul has also reported itself to the county environmental health services department.
The eatery has decided to close Wednesday to allow a pest control company to eliminate the problem. County officials say they will send an inspector to make sure health requirements are met.
The cafe is located in a strip mall alongside several other tenants. The restaurant is also pressing the building management to take action to control the pests.
