**Press release from Spokane Police Dept.**

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police began receiving reports of LCD TVs being stolen from K-Mart, Wal-Mart and Rite Aid stores within the past few weeks.  Details in the reports were fragmented with each report containing a different piece of evidence, eventually linking the four to the crime spree.  The one consistent piece of evidence in each report was that after each theft or attempted theft, one of the suspects would flee in a black Honda Civic.

The break in the case came after a Shadle Park Rite Aid clerk called police to report a theft this past Sunday, just before 4pm.   According to the clerk two males (Jordan Mills and James Smith) entered the store and walked out with a television they didn't pay for.  While on patrol, Ofc. Dan Cole spotted the black Honda consistent with the car mentioned in other victim theft reports near Rockwell and Stevens.

Ofc. Cole also noted that Jordan Mills was wearing what appeared to be the same coat-sweatshirt combination in each of the reported incidents.  Ofc. Cole stopped the group and the stolen TV was found in the trunk of the Honda.

Jordan Mills (35) and James Smith (21) were booked into Spokane County Jail for Trafficking in Stolen Property 2nd Degree and Organized Retail Theft – both Class C Felonies.  Jacob Mills (33) and Miranda Langevin (20) were cited for Misdemeanor City Theft, a criminal offense.

See attached photos of the suspected Honda and the recovered LCD TV (which was returned to Rite Aid)

These individuals are suspected to have stolen thousands of dollars in televisions from local businesses and SPD detectives are working to assist victims and identify any additional victims of this retail theft ring.
