SWXRIGHTNOW.COM - A source tells SWX that the Miami Marlins have made a decision in their search for a replacement for former manager Ozzie Guillen.
That replacement comes in the form of former Gonzaga University Bulldog, Mike Redmond. While Redmond was at Gonzaga he was named to the PAC-10 North All Conference first team in both 1991 and 1992.
Redmond won a World Series with the then Florida Marlins in 2003 and since retiring as a player in 2010 has spent the last few years managing an Advanced single A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Marlins have reportedly signed Redmond to a three year deal.
