Republican Rob McKenna Makes Stop In Spokane While Democrats Continue Their Campaigns

SPOKANE, Wash. - We're five days from the general election and as you would expect the leading candidates continue to campaign everywhere. Next Tuesday night there could be a new President nationwide and a new Governor in Washington state.  

Thursday, Rob McKenna made a campaign stop in Spokane and Cheney, rallying last minute support in Eastern Washington. Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers was there as well as a number of other local and statewide officials hoping for a win next week.  

At the Democrats office downtown Spokane volunteers continued to make calls and rally support behind their candidates. Statewide polls show Jay Inslee and Rob McKenna in a very close race.
