
Gonzaga Prep High School - In a battle of two of the best soccer teams in 2B, St. George's stole the show and shutout Northwest Christian with a 2-0 win.
The Dragon offense was led by Senior Camus Chapman who scored both of his team's goals. Both came off free kicks, with one in the first half and the other in the second half.
Even with the loss Northwest Christian will advance to state along with St. George's.
In the loser-out game, Waitsburg-Prescott dominated Riverside Christian 6-1.
The Cardinals led 3-0 after the first half, and added another trio of goals in the second half. The Crusaders scored their lone goal off the foot of Isaiah Tranch, with a misplay by Waitsburg-Prescott goalie Sergio Gonzalez.
The Cardinals will advance to state, while Riverside Christian's season has reached its end.
