UPDATE: We now know the identification of the pickup truck driver. He is 77 year-old Richard Kiser of Spirit Lake, Idaho.   He remains at Kootenai Medical Center in serious condition.

KHQ.COM - On Friday morning emergency crews responded to a head on crash involving a semi-truck and a pick up truck on Hwy. 41 at Season's Rd. in Twins Lake. The driver of the semi was not hurt however the driver of the pick up truck has serious injuries but not life threatening.

We're told that a significant amount of diesel fuel spilled from the semi onto the road. At this hour it's not clear what driver was at fault but they do say weather was a factor in the crash.

The identities of the two drivers remain unknown. As soon as we get more details we'll post them here on KHQ.com, Facebook and our Twitter news feed.
