SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Firefighters are investigating a structure fire that happened in an abandoned day spa in northeast Spokane Saturday morning.
Firefighters arrived at the Starlite Spa at Market and Cleveland just after 11:30am and found smoke and flames coming from the building.
They were able to knock down the flames in about 30 minutes, but investigators firefighters found empty gas cans inside the building. They also say power was shut off to the business. A cause has yet to be determined, but fire officials say the evidence points to this fire being suspicious.
The spa was raided earlier this year in connection to a prostitution ring.
