SPOKANE, Wash. - Right now emergency crews are on the scene of a driver that has crashed into a fire hydrant. It happened at Hawthorne & Nevada just a short time ago. There are no reports of any injuries. Right now crews are trying to get the water to stop gushing out of the ground. All drivers are being asked to avoid the area.

Twenty-year-old Michelle Childers and her husband, 22-year-old Daniel Childers, were taking a recreational drive along the Lochsa River on September 5. Michelle says they had driven down a dead end road and were on their way back out when, somehow, a limb from a spruce tree came through the passenger window and impaled her neck.
