Mariners to Install HUGE Video Board at Safeco Field

Updated:

They may not have the most powerful offense in professional baseball, but at least the Seattle Mariners will have the biggest video screen.

The Mariners on Thursday released renderings of what they plan to install at Safeco Field during the offseason: a giant 201-foot wide video screen that compares to the huge video board at Cowboys Stadium in the NFL. It dwarfs the MLB's current largest video screen, an 84-foot wide screen in Kansas City.

The team's vice president said on MLB.com: "Northwest sports fans have never seen anything like this."
