File this one under Most Interesting Sports Story of the Day, I guess. Charlie Weis has decided to try and honor his seniors by encouraging students to attend the team's final home game of the season. His treat.

That's right. Students need only show up two hours before kickoff and Weis will pay for their tickets. $10 each. It's all on Weiss. He literally has put his money where his mouth is.

The Jayhawks have had quite the season. Well, not really. They have won just a single game this year – their first game against South Dakota State. They have since lost nine in a row, including last-minute losses to Texas and Texas Tech.

Better luck next year, Kansas. Oh, and Washington fans might want to take notice: Kansas' quarterback next year is expected to be Jake Heaps. Yes, that Jake Heaps. The graduate of Skyline High who chose BYU over Washington three years ago. Yes, that Jake Heaps who walked away from BYU after his freshman season because things didn't work out like he thought they would in Provo.

Good luck to both of you, and well done, Mr. Weis.
