NASELLE, Wash. (AP) - The Washington State Patrol says a mudslide carried a tree into a trooper's car on Highway 101 near Naselle.
Trooper Russ Winger says the trooper was outside at the scene of a mudslide when another tree fell on his car.
Another car then hit patrol car. The trooper is not injured, and the driver of the other car is OK.
The patrol says the mudslide has blocked the highway, and it's one of several mudslides in the area Monday following heavy rain.
