KHQ.COM - Axl Rose once said, "It's hard to hold a candle, in the cold November rain." But who needs a candle when you've got rainbows, Axl? Yes, after days of rain in the Spokane area, the sun finally decided to come out, even if it was only for a moment. But in that moment, we were treated to some spectacular rainbows across the sky!

Twenty-year-old Michelle Childers and her husband, 22-year-old Daniel Childers, were taking a recreational drive along the Lochsa River on September 5. Michelle says they had driven down a dead end road and were on their way back out when, somehow, a limb from a spruce tree came through the passenger window and impaled her neck.
