Idaho Men's Basketball Defeats Wisconsin Green Bay

Moscow, Idaho- The Idaho Vandals Men's Basketball team defeated Wisconsin-Green Bay, 72-62 Tuesday Night at Memorial Gym to earn their first victory of the season.

Three Vandals scored in double figures, led by senior Kyle Barone who tallied a double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Stephen Madison led the Vandals in scoring with 19 points and 7 assists. Connor Hill scored 12 points on 4 of 6 shooting. The Vandals shot 55 percent from the field and 60 percent from behind the three point line. 

The Vandals took the lead 8-7 after a Kyle Barone layup and never lost the lead. Idaho led by as much as 19 points late in the second half. 

Idaho improved to 1-2 on the season, while the Phoenix fell to 2-3. The Vandals hit the road for the next two games, starting in Albuquerque, Friday to face the Lobos of New Mexico, that game is scheduled for a 7:30 Tip Off. The Vandals return to the Palouse to face Washington State on the 28th.
