UPDATE: Dec. 6th, 2012 - Glenn Anderson was arraigned in court on Thursday. Authorities believe Anderson was involved in a north Spokane drive-by shooting last weekend at a bar near the intersection of Division and Lincoln. No one was hurt.

SPOKANE, Wash. - At about 1:42 am Sunday morning, Spokane Police were called to Swaxx's bar at 21 E Lincoln Road for a shooting in the parking lot. Witnesses gave officers a description of two black males in an older black Chevrolet Caprice that both fired handguns while yelling gang their gang affiliations. The suspect vehicle was last seen traveling east bound on Lincoln Road from the bar.
While police were responding to this call, a WSP trooper attempted to stop a speeding vehicle which was south bound on Nevada near Lyons road. That vehicle, a black Chevrolet Caprice, reached speeds of up to 95 MPH as the WSP Trooper attempted to catch up to it. The Caprice drove into a yard at Nevada and Queen while attempting an eastbound turn.
When the Trooper got to the car, a black male driver was fleeing the scene on foot. The WSP Trooper detained the passenger.
SPD officers arriving at Swaxx interviewed several witnesses and recovered multiple shell casing from the parking lot.
SPD officers assisted WSP in their traffic stop and determined that this vehicle was the same as the suspect vehicle from the Swaxx drive by. Witnesses were able to ID'd the vehicle and the passenger as having been involved in the shooting at Swaxx.
The driver of the vehicle was not located. The passenger of the vehicle, Glenn Anderson, 28 years, was booked into the Spokane County Jail on the charge of Drive-By Shooting. The vehicle used in the drive-by shooting was seized pending a search warrant.
The second suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years of age, slender build, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. If you have any information, please call Crime Check at 456-2233.
