KHQ.COM - According to KOMO News, a WSU student is currently in critical condition at Sacred Heart after falling off a second story balcony at a fraternity house early Sunday morning.

19-year-old Griffin Healy fell off the balcony at the Lambda Chi Alpha house on Colorado Street and landed on his head.

Witnesses told police he was trying to sit on the rail when he lost his balance and flipped off backwards. When Pullman Police arrived Healy was unconscious but still breathing and they did confirm that alcohol was involved.

Healy was originally taken to Pullman Regional Hospital but is now at Sacred Heart.

This is the fifth incident this year of a college student falling from a building on the Palouse this year and the fourth incident involving a WSU student.
