Shock Assigned Former Florida Gator

Updated:

The Shock have been assigned defensive end William Green to the 2013 roster.

Green, a product of the University of Florida, joins the Shock for his rookie season in the AFL as a versatile pass rushing defensive end. In his four collegiate seasons as a Gator, Green saw action in 53 total games (started four) on his way to recording 53 total tackles (31 solo), 11 tackles-for-loss, and 2.5 sacks.

"Green is an explosive defensive end that as the quickness and hustle we want our defensive line to have," said Shock Head General Manager Ryan Rigmaiden.
