Clarkston Man Sent To Hospital After Logging Accident In Clearwater County
Clearwater County Sheriff's Department Press Release:
CLEARWATER COUNTY, Idaho - Clearwater County Sheriff's Deputies, Weippe Ambulance and Lifeflight responded to a logging accident off of Deer Creek Reservoir early this morning.
David C. Prall, 61 of Clarkston, Wash was injured by a falling deck of logs. Prall, a loader operator, was assisting ground crew when a deck of logs fell striking him and pinning him under several logs.
Prall was rescued and stabilized by fellow loggers. Prall sustained multiple injuries and was transported by ambulance crew to the air strip at Clearwater Potlach Timber Protective Association near Headquarters. Lifeflight then transported Prall to Lewiston to the hospital. His condition is unknown.
