Police Search For Assault Suspect in Northeast Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police set up a perimeter in northeast Spokane Tuesday night to search for an assault suspect. 

It all started around 10:00pm when a person driving in the area of 1900 East Providence saw a black male assaulting a female and called 911. 

Officers arrived quickly and set up a perimeter after identifying the suspect as 26-year-old Labruque Jones. 

Police have probable cause to arrest Jones for felony Threats to Kill, Harassment and Assault. 

Jones was last seen running through yards in the area of Lacrosse and Helena. 

Officers set up a perimeter and brought in a K-9 unit as they searched for Jones but he was not located. 

He was last seen wearing a red shirt possibly armed with a handgun.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
