Bulldogs Move Up Again!

SWXRIGHTNOW.COM - With today's release of the AP NCAA Men's Basketball polls, the Gonzaga Bulldogs find themselves in a place they haven't been since December 22, 2008...among the top 10 teams in the nation.

The Zags are ranked #10 in both the USA Today Coaches and Associated Press Polls. After getting by LCSC with ease on Thursday, they struggled early on Saturday against Pacific before turning on the afterburners and running away with the game in the second half. Those two wins put Gonzaga at their best start in program history and back into the top 10.

The Bulldogs head to Pullman on Wednesday to take on the 5-2 Washington State Cougars, looking to extend their record to 9-0 and gain a little more momentum before hosting #13 University of Illinois on Saturday.

This Gonzaga team is the deepest they have been in years, with very few holes, if any, at all positions. Pay attention, this could be a special year for the Zags, they are already making program history, it should be fun to see what they achieve the rest of the year.
