SLIDESHOW: House Fire In Northwest Spokane; Children Taken To Hospital

UPDATE: The father and two children were taken to the hospital immediately. The mother and one other child were evaluated and the fourth child rode along. The ages of the children are 7, 6, 4 and 1. The 4-year-old has non life threatening injuries along with the father. The adult female is in stable condition along with the two other kids. Reporter Katie Steiner spoke with a neighbor who said he hosed down the fire with a hose before firemen arrived. 

UPDATE: The family of six all made it out of the house. One adult and two children have been transported to the hospital. The condition of the children is unknown at this hour. It's not clear what started the fire. A firefighter on the scene says it wasn't a big fire and that smoke did most of the damage. As soon as we get more details we'll post them here on KHQ.com.

UPDATE: Police tell KHQ that witnesses say they could see flames shooting through the back of the structure. Witnesses also tell police that a family of 5 live in the home but it's unknown if they were inside during the time when the fire.
