Police Arrest 3 And Seize 64 Pounds Of Marijuana

Posted: Updated:

CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) - Authorities in southwest Idaho say three men were arrested and 64 pounds of marijuana seized after a traffic stop earlier this week.

Idaho State Police say the three men were apprehended near Caldwell and are being held in the Canyon County Jail on felony marijuana trafficking charges.

The men were arrested Tuesday after being pulled over in two separate vehicles on Interstate 84 Tuesday. Police believe they were on a cross-country run to either sell or deliver the drugs.

During the stop, troopers found FedEx boxes in one vehicle filled with marijuana, then paperwork in the second vehicle linking the men to the boxes with the marijuana in the first car.

Records show two of the suspects are from Alabama, while the other is from Indiana.
