New Charity Helping Local Families Dealing With Hard Times
SPOKANE, Wash. - A new charity in town is setting out to help sick kids and their families dealing with life altering conditions. Operation Gift means giving inspiration, fun and toys. The group has been and will be collecting toys and donations at area Albertsons throughout December. Families with children who have any life altering conditions, anything from asthma to cancer, can be apart of Operation Gift and the program sticks with the family until the child beats the illness or turns 18.
If you want to donate a toy they will be at the Liberty Lake Albertsons on Friday December 14th from 12-6pm and the Wandermere Albertsons on Saturday December 15th from 12-6pm. You can also donate at any Sterling Savings Bank under the account "Operation Gift."
