BLAKE JENSEN: Commute could be a little messy in some spots today...mostly in the lower elevated areas around Spokane that snow has been mixing with rain and not really accumulating but areas where it IS sticking like Airway Heights could get a little sloppy.

Overall though temperatures just barely above freezing kept this snow from accumulating to the 1-3" predicted. After this wave of moisture moves through later this morning it will really just be hit or miss showers the rest of the day as a ridge of high pressure starts to dry things out for Thursday.

Not much of a break however, expect a return to the wet weather Friday and through the weekend with the best chance of more snow coming Saturday night.

Wednesday: AM snow, rain/snow mix showers. Turning to hit/miss showers. SW 5-10 mph. High: 35°

Thursday: AM Fog. Partly/Mostly Cloudy, mostly dry. S to 5 mph. High: 36°
