North Idaho Man Charged With Two Counts Of First Degree Murder

BONNER COUNTY, Idaho - On December 18, 2012, at 8:43 p.m. Priest River Police Department was dispatched to 350 Harriet Street, Priest River.  The caller, Jeremy Swanson, reported he had stabbed his wife to death. 

Priest River Police arrived on scene and confirmed that Jennifer Swanson, aged 27 years, was deceased and detained Jeremy Swanson, also 27 years of age. 

Priest River Police Department requested the assistance of the Bonner County Sheriff's Office to investigate the crime scene and interview all parties involved. 

Detectives from the Bonner County Sheriff's Office are continuing to investigate all the aspects surrounding the death of Ms. Swanson. 

Jeremy Swanson has been charged with two counts of First Degree Murder.  One count each for the murder of his wife, Jennifer, and also under Idaho Statute, one for his unborn child. 

He is being held at the Bonner County Jail on a $1,000,000.00 bond.
