Updated:

The top high school player in the nation will not be coming to the West Coast Conference. Jabari Parker, from Chicago, said Thursday he would go to Duke next year.

Thursday's announcement was a verbal commitment to Duke. He intends to sign a letter of intent in April when the spring signing period begins.
