Mayans Living in Mexico Don't Believe World is Going to End

Posted: Updated:

The doomsdayers believe this Friday is the end of the world due to the end of the Mayan calendar ironically the Mayans living in Mexico today don't.

The Mayans living in the city of Merida, Mexico, don't believe the world is coming to an end. They know the calendar their ancestors left them is the end of an era and the beginning of a new one but they don't think we're all gonna die.

Most scientist and NASA don't believe the world will come to an end either. They say the planets are not going to align, there is no predicted blackout for this December and the earth's rotation isn't going to change directions.

You can read more about the end of the world in the current issue and ironically the next issue of tu Decides the bilingual newspaper.
