Gonzaga Gets Closer to Top 10... Again

A loss by Florida equals a move up the basketball chain for the Gonzaga Bulldogs.

The Zags moved up one spot to No. 13 on the latest AP Top 25 basketball poll released Monday.

Duke remained at No. 1 and Michigan is No. 2. Syracuse, after a loss to Temple on Saturday, dropped to No. 9. Arizona, Louisville and Indiana round out the top five.

Gonzaga's next game is Saturday at home against Baylor (ESPN2). They travel to No. 22 Oklahoma State to face the Cowboys on New Year's Eve (ESPN2). The beginning of West Coast Conference play is January 3 at Pepperdine.
