SPOKANE, Wash. - An
early morning fire damages one apartment and several residents were forced to
spend several hours in the cold Monday morning. Fire crews were called to the
intersection of 8th and Walnut just after 3:30AM when they found an apartment
complex with thick smoke billowing out of the structure.
The fire was
immediately upgraded to a working fire and more than 6 Spokane fire units were
called to the scene. The fire was discovered in the back of the complex and was
contained quickly. Only one apartment was damaged in the blaze and we are
